In an exciting development for tech enthusiasts, Zepto, the popular quick commerce platform, is set to launch Apple products, including the much-anticipated iPhone 16e, on its website this week. This new offering will feature a range of items, such as iPads, Apple Watches, and AirPods, among various accessories, enhancing the selection for customers eager to get their hands on the latest gadgets.

Rising Demand for Apple Products

This strategic move follows closely on the heels of Blinkit, Zepto’s competitor, which recently announced the delivery of additional Apple products after already providing iPhone options. According to insiders, Zepto has experienced a remarkable 35-40% increase in searches for Apple products over the past two months, indicating a growing consumer interest.

Quick Commerce and Electronics Boom

The quick commerce sector has seen a surge in demand for electronics, with mobile phones leading this trend. Premium electronics like those from Apple not only attract customers but also present an opportunity for quick commerce platforms to boost their average order values (AOV). This is crucial for companies like Zepto as they strive to mitigate operational losses, which are estimated to be around ₹300-350 crore monthly.

Future Prospects for Zepto

In addition to expanding its product range, Zepto is gearing up for a stock market listing. The company recently completed its transition from Singapore to India, preparing to file necessary documentation with the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Sebi) by April.

As Zepto ventures into the realm of premium electronics, it not only enhances its product offerings but also positions itself for sustainable growth in an increasingly competitive market.
