Mahindra & Mahindra Financial Services

In a strategic move, Mahindra & Mahindra Financial Services has announced a Rs 2,996 crore rights issue, proposing to sell 15.44 crore shares at Rs 194 each. This initiative is designed to bolster capital adequacy and facilitate growth in the rural lending sector.

Titan

Titan Company has closed the March 2025 quarter on a positive note, with net profits climbing 10.7% year-on-year to Rs 870 crore. The renowned jewellery and watchmaker also exceeded revenue expectations, achieving Rs 13,477 crore, up nearly 20% from the previous year, surpassing forecasts of Rs 13,055 crore.

Lupin

In the pharmaceutical sector, Lupin has secured approval from the USFDA for its generic formulation of Raltegravir 600 mg tablets, essential for HIV treatment. As the first-to-file applicant, Lupin is poised to enjoy 180 days of exclusivity, a significant edge in the competitive generics market.

One97 Communications (Paytm)

One97 Communications, known for its digital payment platform Paytm, made headlines following a settlement concerning a regulatory issue related to Employee Stock Options (ESOPs). Founder Vijay Shekhar Sharma and his brother Ajay Shekhar Sharma resolved the case with SEBI by paying Rs 2.8 crore. Under the terms of the agreement, Vijay is barred from accepting new ESOPs for three years, and existing grants exceeding 2 crore shares have been nullified.

Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL)
