The award will be conferred on April 11, 2025, at a grand ceremony at Marriott Resort, Panaji, Goa.

Lion Dr. Vijaya Bhaskar Reddy has long stood as a symbol of selfless service. His contributions span decades and include large-scale annadhanams, pioneering work in environmental sustainability, leadership in Lions sight and health projects, and passionate involvement in educational upliftment. He is also the driving force behind numerous social impact campaigns in Karnataka, including through his entrepreneurship in Kolhapuri Amma Packaging Industries.
Notably, his philanthropic legacy was highlighted in 2015 when he supported the anti-drug movement by distributing 1,000 copies of the book Crumpled Papers to school children — an event that still resonates with many.
The Sardar Patel Unity Award 2025 stands as a testament to his unwavering dedication to unity, social development, and nation-building.
