Kalpataru Projects International Secures Major Contracts Worth ₹2,366 Crore

Kalpataru Projects International Limited (KPIL) has recently announced a significant achievement, securing new contracts totaling ₹2,366 crore in both domestic and international markets. These contracts are primarily centered around the transmission and distribution (T&D) sectors, as well as the buildings and factories (B&F) segment across India.

Expansion in Transmission and Distribution Sector

The T&D business is experiencing notable growth, driven by increasing power demand and a rapid shift towards renewable energy solutions. According to Manish Mohnot, Managing Director and CEO of KPIL, this upward trend is a crucial factor contributing to the expansion of the company’s order book. He emphasized the company’s commitment to enhancing its market position and capabilities in the T&D sector globally.

  • Key highlights:
    • Increased demand for power
    • Focus on renewable energy expansion
    • Strategic improvement in T&D infrastructure

Strengthening the Buildings and Factories Segment

In addition to T&D, KPIL has also secured repetitive contracts in the B&F sector from an existing client. This achievement underscores the company’s solid reputation for timely project delivery and robust construction capabilities. Mohnot noted that these new orders reaffirm KPIL’s dedication to excellence in the B&F construction arena.

  • Repetitive orders indicate:
    • Client trust and satisfaction
    • Proven track record in construction

Positive Outlook for FY25

With these recent contracts, KPIL’s total order intake for the fiscal year 2025 has reached an impressive ₹24,850 crore. This figure not only signifies a strong performance but also offers promising visibility for enhanced execution and growth in the near future, according to Mohnot.
