On Tuesday, March 18, shares of Paisalo Digital surged nearly 4%, fueled by an announcement from Equilibrated Venture Cflow (P) Ltd., a domestic institutional investor based in the Delhi-NCR region. This uptick reflects growing investor confidence in the non-banking financial company (NBFC) as the firm increased its stake in Paisalo Digital through transactions in the open market.

Stake Acquisition Details

In a recent regulatory filing in compliance with SEBI Regulation 29(2), Equilibrated Venture Cflow revealed the purchase of 540,000 shares of Paisalo Digital. This acquisition represents 0.0599% of the firm’s total share and diluted voting capital. The report clarified that the transaction did not involve any encumbered shares or the use of convertible securities or other financial instruments.

Following this transaction, Equilibrated Venture Cflow’s total shareholding in Paisalo Digital rose to 14,073,720 shares, which equates to 15.6007% of the total share capital. Prior to this acquisition, the firm held 14,019,720 shares, representing 15.5409% of the company’s overall voting power.

Stock Movement Insights

The announcement of this stake increase led to a positive response in the stock market, with Paisalo Digital’s shares climbing as much as 3.7% during the trading session. The stock reached an intraday peak of ₹35.89 before settling lower. Despite this recent gain, the stock remains far below its 52-week high of ₹86.82, achieved in April 2024, marking a decline of over 58% from that peak. Additionally, the stock hit a 52-week low of ₹34 in February 2025.

Over the past year, Paisalo Digital has experienced a 49% decrease in its value, continuing its downward trajectory into 2025. The stock has faced significant losses, dropping over 6% in March alone, marking its fourth consecutive month of declines. In the previous months, it fell more than 14% in February, 13% in January, and 2% in December 2024.
