DLF Launches Exciting New Shopping Plazas Near Delhi and Gurugram Residential Areas!

DLF to Launch New Shopping Plazas in Delhi and Gurugram

In an exciting development for shoppers, DLF, a leading player in the Indian real estate sector, is set to unveil two new shopping plazas adjacent to its upscale residential complexes. Pushpa Bector, the Senior Executive Director and head of DLF Retail, shared this news recently, emphasizing the convenience these plazas will offer to residents and visitors alike.

Shopping Plazas Designed for Convenience

These innovative shopping destinations are designed to provide residents with quick access to retail essentials, effectively serving as a physical counterpart to the rapid delivery services that have become popular. “Need something fast? Just take a short walk, and you’ll have it in your hands within ten minutes,” Bector expressed.

Details of the Upcoming Plazas

  • Midtown Plaza: Located near DLF Capital Greens in Moti Nagar, Delhi, this plaza will cover 200,000 square feet, with 75-80% of the space already leased out.

  • Summit Plaza: Situated in Gurugram’s Phase 5, where DLF’s premium projects like The Crest reside, this plaza will boast an impressive 480,000 square feet of space, featuring over 400,000 square feet dedicated to retail, alongside co-working facilities.

Bector confirmed that both plazas are scheduled to open within the current financial year, promising a blend of shopping, dining, and workspace options.

Expansion Plans for DLF

In addition to the new plazas, DLF is also preparing to launch two major malls: the Mall of India in Gurugram and Promenade in Goa. The latter is poised to become the largest shopping mall in Goa, encompassing 700,000 square feet of retail space and hosting more than 300 stores.

A Booming Retail Sector

Bector noted that the organized retail sector has rebounded significantly in the wake of the pandemic, with a noticeable increase in foot traffic at shopping malls. This growth signals a positive trend for the retail landscape in India, reinforcing DLF’s commitment to expanding its footprint in this dynamic market.

As DLF continues to innovate and expand its retail offerings, shoppers can look forward to enhanced convenience and a vibrant shopping experience in the heart of their communities.
