Top 5 Breakout Stocks to Buy or Sell: Sumeet Bagadia’s Expert Picks for April 7, 2025

As the domestic equity landscape shifts, market performance has faced notable hurdles. The Sensex and Nifty 50 indices have recently dipped, driven by a mix of global market unease and renewed concerns about a potential trade conflict. The Nifty 50 wrapped up the week at 22,904.40, while the Sensex settled close to a weekly low at 75,364.69. Overall, the BSE Sensex experienced a decline of 2,050.23 points, or 2.64%, while the NSE Nifty fell by 614.8 points, equating to 2.61%.

Market Outlook: A Silver Lining Amidst the Decline

Despite the recent downturn, Sumeet Bagadia, Executive Director at Choice Broking, is optimistic about the Indian stock market’s potential. He highlights that the market’s overall sentiment remains positive, even as it navigates through periods of consolidation at elevated levels.

Bagadia noted that the Nifty 50 is currently encountering resistance at 23,800, yet it has established a robust support base at 23,500. He believes this support level could catalyze an upward trend, with targets set for 24,200 and 24,700. Traders are encouraged to focus on stocks exhibiting strength on technical charts, especially for those interested in intraday trading.

Recommended Breakout Stocks to Consider

For investors looking to capitalize on potential breakout opportunities, Bagadia has identified five compelling stocks to consider purchasing:

  • Gujarat Apollo Industries: Buy at ₹372.1, target ₹395, with a stop loss at ₹358.
  • NACL Industries: Buy at ₹134.89, target ₹144, with a stop loss at ₹130.
  • Synergy Green Industries: Buy at ₹419, target ₹445, with a stop loss at ₹405.
  • Star Cement: Buy at ₹219.14, target ₹233, with a stop loss at ₹211.
