Should You Buy BoB Stock Today? Key Insights Ahead of Q4 2025 Results!

Shares of Bank of Baroda (BoB) are gearing up for increased attention from investors as the state-owned bank is set to unveil its Q4 results for the fiscal year 2025 on April 6, 2025. This announcement is highly anticipated among market watchers, given the bank’s consistent performance and the overall economic landscape.

Expectations Surrounding BoB’s Q4 Results

Industry analysts predict that Bank of Baroda may showcase stable loan growth in its upcoming results, although the net profit is likely to remain relatively unchanged. However, there are concerns regarding the Net Interest Income (NII), which could face some challenges in the current quarter.

Analyst Insights

Seema Srivastava, a Senior Research Analyst at SMC Global Securities, offered insights into the anticipated financial performance. She mentioned, “The results for Q4 FY25 are expected to show a mostly flat financial outcome. While loan growth remains steady, income growth appears muted. The net profit is likely to mirror previous year figures, indicating a lack of substantial earnings momentum.”

  • Key Predictions:
    • Loan Growth: Expected to maintain a double-digit increase year-on-year, demonstrating robust credit demand.
    • Net Interest Margin (NIM): Anticipated slight decline, indicating pressure on spreads.
    • Asset Quality: Positive outlook with improvements in both gross and net non-performing assets (NPAs), thanks to lower slippages and consistent recoveries.

BoB Share Price Forecast

He explained, "The stock is forming a rounding bottom pattern over the past 22 weeks, with key resistance levels between ₹250 and ₹264.60. Currently, it’s approaching the resistance at ₹264.60. Although volume accumulation has been moderate, it remains positive."

  • Resistance Levels:
    • ₹250 – ₹264.60: Current key resistance zone.
    • Breakout Potential: A significant move above ₹264.60, particularly with strong trading volumes, could propel the stock toward ₹300.
