Tata Consultancy Services (TCS)

In a recent report by Moneycontrol, Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has announced a reduction in variable pay for senior staff during the January-March quarter. This is the third consecutive quarter where the leading software exporter has opted to cut variable pay for certain employees, reflecting ongoing adjustments in compensation strategies.

Swiggy

Swiggy has officially discontinued its hyperlocal delivery service, Genie, across various cities. Initially launched in 2020, Genie aimed to facilitate parcel delivery and shop pickups within the same locality. However, despite expanding to around 60 cities, the service struggled to achieve profitability and ultimately could not sustain its operations.

Coforge

Coforge has reported impressive growth in its financial performance for the March quarter. The company’s net profit surged by 21.2% to reach ₹261 crore in Q4 FY25, while revenue saw a 4.7% rise to ₹3,410 crore. Additionally, earnings before interest and tax (EBIT) climbed by 15.5% to ₹449.4 crore, with operating margins improving significantly from 11.9% to 13.2%.

Mahindra & Mahindra

Mahindra & Mahindra has announced a 22% year-on-year increase in standalone profit for the March quarter, reaching ₹2,437 crore. This growth was largely driven by an enhanced product mix in the SUV segment and improved margins in the tractor division. The automaker’s revenue from operations rose by 25%, totaling ₹31,353 crore.

Bajaj Consumer Care

In its fiscal fourth-quarter earnings report, Bajaj Consumer Care disclosed a profit of ₹30.98 crore, reflecting a 12.93% decline from ₹35.58 crore in the same quarter last year. However, revenue from operations increased by 4.39% to ₹250.49 crore, up from ₹239.96 crore in the prior year. Unfortunately, the company’s EBITDA fell by 8.3% year-on-year to ₹32 crore.

Indian Hotels Company

Indian Hotels Company reported a strong performance with a 28.4% rise in consolidated net profit, totaling ₹562.66 crore for Q4 FY25. This is up from ₹438.33 crore in the same quarter last year. The company’s revenue from operations grew by 27.3%, reaching ₹2,425.14 crore, although total expenses also increased significantly.

DCM Shriram

DCM Shriram achieved a remarkable 52% increase in consolidated net profit, which reached ₹178.91 crore in Q4 FY25, compared to ₹117.80 crore a year prior. Total income also rose, reaching ₹3,040.60 crore from ₹2,555.23 crore in the same period last year.

Glenmark Pharmaceuticals

Glenmark Pharmaceuticals announced that its innovation arm, Ichnos Glenmark Innovation (IGI), has received a fast track designation from the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for its investigational therapy, ISB 2001, aimed at treating multiple myeloma.

Paras Defence and Space Technologies

Paras Defence and Space Technologies has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with HevenDrones Ltd, a company based in Israel, to explore collaborative opportunities in the defense and civil drone sectors. The goal of this partnership is to establish a joint venture in India focused on the development and manufacturing of logistics and cargo drones.
