Upcoming Earnings Announcements

As the earnings season progresses, today’s spotlight is on several key players set to unveil their quarterly performance reports. Among these are Adani Enterprises, Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone, Railtel Corporation of India, and Zomato. Investors and analysts alike are keenly awaiting these updates to gauge the economic climate and individual company trajectories.

Nifty 50 Earnings Projections

In a recent forecast, Nuvama has projected a modest 2% year-on-year growth for Nifty 50 earnings in Q4FY25. The brokerage noted that, while the outlook for FY25E suggests a 6% EPS growth, this is a drop from the previously predicted 8%. Global uncertainties, particularly due to the reintroduction of tariffs, pose challenges; approximately two-thirds of Nifty’s revenue is linked to international trade, amplifying potential risks.

Adani Ports Financial Highlights

Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone Ltd (APSEZ) reported a remarkable 47.78% rise in profits, reaching ₹3,014.22 crore in Q4, compared to ₹2,039.66 crore in the same period last year. Revenue from operations also saw an impressive 23.08% increase, totaling ₹8,488.44 crore. The company announced a dividend of ₹7 per equity share, pending shareholder approval at the upcoming AGM.

Maruti Suzuki’s Market Dynamics

Maruti Suzuki has adjusted its EPS forecasts for FY26 and FY27 downwards by 5%, primarily due to ongoing margin pressures. Despite this, analysts are optimistic about factors like strong rural demand and new model launches that could bolster market share and support revenue growth at an estimated 11.5% CAGR.

Bajaj Finance’s Performance Insights
