Schaeffler India stated that eligible shareholders will receive their dividend within 30 days following the AGM, scheduled for April 30, 2025. The company’s board has proposed a dividend of ₹28 per share for the financial year ending December 31, 2024. However, this payout is contingent upon approval from the shareholders during the AGM.

On March 11, Schaeffler India’s stock experienced a decline, falling over 2% to ₹3,210.50 per share by 1:23 PM on the NSE. The fluctuation in share prices has drawn attention, especially as the company prepares for significant discussions regarding dividends.

This proposed dividend marks Schaeffler India’s third-largest payout to shareholders. Here’s a quick look at their recent dividend history:

  • 2021: ₹38 per share
  • 2020: ₹35 per share
  • 2023: ₹24 per share (followed a stock split of 5:1)

The 2023 dividend was subsequently adjusted to ₹16 per share post-split, illustrating the company’s commitment to returning value to its investors.

Q3 FY25 Financial Highlights

In the latest financial report, Schaeffler India showcased impressive growth in the December 2024 quarter. The company recorded a 13.20% increase in net profit, reaching ₹237.28 crore, up from ₹209.61 crore in the same quarter of 2023. Additionally, sales surged by 13.95%, totaling ₹2,136.06 crore, compared to ₹1,874.55 crore in Q3 FY24.

  • Annual Net Profit (2024): ₹938.86 crore (up 4.43% from ₹899.02 crore in 2023)
  • Annual Sales (2024): ₹8,232.38 crore (up 13.54% from ₹7,250.89 crore in 2023)
  • EBITDA for Q4 FY25: Increased by 14.2%, rising from ₹324.1 crore to ₹370.2 crore.

Despite these gains, the EBITDA margin held steady at 17.3%, highlighting the company’s efficient cost management amidst growth.
